Blackjack at 32Red
Blackjack is one of the few casino games where the outcome can be influenced by the player. Make the right decisions at the right time and the house edge over the player can be negligible. For those who haven’t played this card game before, the idea is for the player to make a hand with a total as near to 21 as he can. Picture cards count as 10 and all other cards have their face value, except the Ace which has a value of 1 or 11. Should the player’s hand exceed a value of 21, he busts and automatically loses. If his hand is 21 or less and the dealer’s hand is of a lower value, the player wins and is paid at odds of 1 to 1, unless he has a Blackjack (an Ace and a card with a value of 10) in which case he is paid odds of 3 to 2. If both player and dealer have the same hand total, the dealer calls “Push” and the player’s bet is returned to him.
Blackjack at 32Red Casino comes in a number of varieties, with Atlantic City Blackjack and Vegas Strip Blackjack being the most popular. Atlantic City Blackjack uses eight decks and allows the player to surrender his hand (after his first two cards have been dealt and only if the dealer does not have a Blackjack) and reclaim half of his bet. Vegas Strip Blackjack uses 4 decks (2 deck and single deck versions are also available here) but does not allow surrendering. Other Blackjack games here include Spanish Blackjack, Triple 7’s Blackjack, European Blackjack, as well as multi-hand Blackjack.
